Launch Plan and Timeline

The first question you might think of (and the one we’ve already been asked) is "Why plant another church in Chattanooga, Tennessee? Aren’t there enough?"

In a word...No. Scenic City Redemption Church (SCRC) is being planted because 80% of the residents of Chattanooga stay home on Sundays. They are not engaged by local churches, and our desire  at SCRC is to bring a fresh approach to church to Chattanooga. We desire to be a place that is vibrant in worship, expositional in preaching, active in social justice, and loving in community.  

From a simple conversation in late 2010 between John and Justin, the vision for this church in the North Shore area has continued to be shaped by God. And now, a team of people who are passionate about the Gospel are forming to commit our lives to impacting the North Shore, Greater Chattanooga, and the  world for glory of God in Jesus Christ.

November 19, 2011 - Scenic City Redemption Church Thanksgiving Social Ministry

January 8, 2012 - Scenic City Redemption Preview Service 1

April 1, 2012- (Good Friday) - Scenic City Redemption Launch, with weekly services
